Good Morning,

The opportunity to teach and inspire students in your school is an exciting prospect for which I am well-qualified. As I am searching for a school that values experience and offers a feeling of community and care for students I feel that your school would be the perfect fit.
As disclosed in the attached resume, I have teacher certification from the Florida Department of Education in multiple areas and have a broad knowledge base of developmental practices and educational theories. I have twenty-two years teaching experience as a HS Literature and Academic Writing teacher, Learning Specialist for GIfted and Talented, MS Language Arts and Reading teacher, and as a MS Literacy Coach in four reputable districts, stateside and internationally. My highest level of education is a Masters of Science in School Counseling.
My education and experiences have helped me grow as an educator and would be an asset to your learning community. I am highly flexible and have the ability to work with colleagues in multiple settings. I also have strong leadership experience, knowledge of current research and implementation of teaching strategies for diverse students, as well as outstanding interpersonal communication with students, administration, teaching teams, parents, and members in the community. I am confident that these strengths will greatly benefit your district.

I am currently in my fourth year as the Secondary Head of English, teaching grades 9, 11 and 12 at Yangon Academy International School Last year I assumed a role, adding School Counselor. The last two years have been an exciting time of firsts, challenges, and an abundance of personal and professional growth. I continue to be in love with this life, developing as a teacher and student advocate. I am a passionate, energetic, and adventurous person. I love to live life to the fullest. Personally, I am driven by traveling and lifelong learning To be able to combine my love for traveling, experience other cultures, and grow professionally abroad continues to be a dream come true for me.

I would love the opportunity to learn more about your school and and I hope you will consider me as a candidate for an interview. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
Lea Woodward
